The 2012 Toys for Tots Campaign for the St Louis Metro Area is just getting started. Each year, the collection campaign needs as many volunteers as possible to ensure that there is enough help to pick up toys, distribute toys, participate in events and assist in the general operations. Without your help, the program would not enjoy the level of success that it does and we truly need your help again this year.

Below are links to officially sign up for various volunteer options for the 2012 collection campaign. In accordance to the Toys for Tots regulations, if you wish to participate in the Toys for Tots campaign, you will need to complete the appropriate form(s) hyperlinked below. And, even if you’ve volunteered/participated in the past and already done this, you will still need to do this again. Since 1947, the Toys for Tots campaign has provided toys to more than 200 million needy children.
In the past 3 years, the St Louis Toys for Tots collection campaign has steadily increased toy collections and monetary donations each year by 8-9% and in 2010, with the help of our generous community, we got toys to more than 195,000 area children in need and collected over $225,000 to purchase additional toys.

Unlike many of the other local organizations that facilitate toy drives, the Toys for Tots campaign have zero administrative expenses and 100% of each dollar donated to the Toys for Tots goes right back into assisting our community’s children in need. This year, with your help and generosity, we’ll maintain this steady increase and super-cede all other campaigns in the Nation.

One of our organizations many purposes and missions is to assist the active duty Marines of the St Louis metro area in facilitating and organizing Toys for Tots collection campaigns and fund-raising events so that we can make sure that they can focus on their mission readiness and to help save some of our taxpayer’s hard earned money by relieving the USMC of devoted manpower hours and logistical expenses such as gasoline and warehousing. Like the program itself, our organization’s board is a 100% volunteer force and no one gets compensation for our efforts.

In the wake of Marine Week St Louis, we anticipate a banner year for the Toys for Tots and need your help in accomplishing this goal. In the coming weeks, we’ll be posting information regarding how you can help this project out. We need your help and support and together, we can ensure that every child in need in our community gets to experience the joys of receiving a gift for the holidays.
